Achan...(Poonthuruthi Madhava Panicker)

Our favorite person is father in poonthuruthi. I am closer to him than to anyone I know. He supports me in whatever I do. He is a very understanding man and he cares a lot about me.He tries to educate me and keep me informed on what is happening throughout the world.  To me he is more than just my father; he is my teacher and my helper and all.....

‘Thank you for being my father.’
Thank you for giving me life,
Thank you for showing me good from bad.
I guess I’m only really trying to say,
Thank you for being my father.
Even though the years drift away,
I
never took the time just to say,
‘I love you, and I always have,
And thank you for being my Dad.’

Amma....

Kunhattan.......Sunil Kumar Poonthuruthi

Life contributed for Carnatic music, working as a music teacher in Pavandoor high school in Calicut. Married with usha sunil kumar, Amrutesh Sun and daughter Devanana.

As in the rest of India, Carnatic music is the popular classical form. Kerala's own contribution is the "Sopana" style - slow in tempo and emotional. Kerala's folk music, on the other hand, is neither sophisticated nor refined, but it displays a strong sense of rythm and rhyme.
The 7 notes or "Swar" of the scale are "Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha and Ni"
  • Shadj = Sa
  • Rishabh = Re
  • Gandhara = Ga
  • Madhyam = Ma
  • Pancham = Pa
  • Dhaivat = Dha
  • Nishad = Ni
Award from former Education minister Mr. MA Baby in the occasion of Kerala state school youth festival.

Me & Sree

Once I got you, we turned out to be the same. We liked the same   music, read the same blogs, quoted the same movies. We would be    together every day, and have long conversations at night. We would  go shopping and spent hours in book shops just looking at books and talking.Even when some guys were being unpleasant around me, you would protect me and make it all good again and your adorable smile would always cheer me up.
